Our story
Trusted logistics since 1967
“Global transport — local service” has been the motto since the company was re-named, and it still describes how the group works today — ten offices across seven countries, run by local teams who know their own ports and routes.
How we got here
Founded as Holbæk Shipping & Spedition, with stevedoring and road freight as the main focus.
Kent Ranners begins his shipping agent career in the company, focusing on expanding the truck service business.
Kent Ranners takes over the company and paves the way for an international approach to the market.
A new era begins with offices in the UK, Norway, Sweden and Finland, and the development of warehousing and third-party logistics.
Torben and Michael Ranners enter the owners circle, both taking an active role in developing Holship Group.
Holship operates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
